Since 1995, RUPA has been providing players with invaluable assistance in their transition to retirement.
RUPA communicates regularly with our alumni network, engaing them with past-player exclusive e-newsletter (ShortArm) and on our exclusive past + current player LinkedIn page. A large number of past professional players also receive Lineout, our largest distributed e-newsletter, and follow and interact with us on social media.
RUPA conduct many alumni events throughout the calendar year, whether they be formal information sharing sessions or casual cocktail-style events incorporating Buildcorp NRC, Super Rugby and Wallabies fixtures, while our office doors are always open to any past players who want to drop by. We're also always on the lookout for interesting stories to write about our past players, so please contact Pete Fairbairn if you have an idea for a good article.
Past players can access some services delivered by RUPA and the Player Development Program including access to transition support, counselling and (eligible) Training & Education funding.
For more information about RUPA's Alumni Network, to update your contact details or simply let us know what you're up to contact Patrick Phibbs, or to discuss Player Development Program offerings for past players contact Rosemary Towner.
